Dream Goals: My goal is to ask dream characters  “Show me something I need to see”

Techniques Used: Before bed, I performed a meditation and set my intention to wake from my dreams with full memory. After a few minutes of watching my thoughts go by, I felt a noticeable shift in my consciousness. I felt razor focused and the mental chatter died down to zero. Did I enter the ideal suggestive state? Is that what it feels like? I took the opportunity to firmly set my intention to remember my dreams and go over my plan to induce lucid dreams later in the night.

“I am walking amongst an outdoor market type place when I realize I am dreaming. I perform a nose-pinch reality check to confirm and rub my hands together to ground myself in the dream. I walk through a crowd of people toward an antique shop. There is an older lady outside who I recognize as the owner of the shop. I ask her “Show me something I need to see”. She directs me to a window display that is showcasing some Russian nesting eggs…okay. I see my mom and dad nearby and I ask my mom the same question. I don’t quite remember what she said. I ask my dad to tell me something I need to know. He says “Always put dairy in the fridge. This includes cheese, milk, ice cream.”…………….thanks for the wisdom dad!!

Notes: I had amazing dream recall this night. Both in quantity and vividness. I became lucid after/during my second sleep cycle….this rarely happens. In my pre-bed visualization, I visualized asking my parents these questions and they appeared in my dream. I attribute this success to my pre-bed meditation and hyper focused/suggestible state that I achieved. It worked after 3 hours of sleep!
